Troubleshooting

External display connected to USB-C dock flickers

·Try another monitor.

·Update your operating system to the latest version.

·Try resetting NVRAM. (Instructions to reset NVRAM can be found on Apple's official website)

TIPS:

 1. To prevent unresponsive wake-up issues, we recommend using USB-C to USB-C cables.

 2. If the dock fails to automatically wake up, we recommend replunging the USB-C cable.

What to do if some ports on the docking station stop working after a while?

·Restart your laptop. If the issue persists, please contact iVANKY customer service for help.

What to do if the ports of the docking station are not working?

·Check if the indicator light is lit up.

·Ensure that the Thunderbolt 5 cable is connected to the corresponding upstream port of the docking station used for connecting to the MacBook.

·If your Mac asks for permission to connect an accessory, click "Allow".

Why can't the display reach 5K or 6K resolution?

·Check if the display supports resolutions above 4K.

·If you are using a video cable adapter, please make sure that your adapter supports 5K or 6K resolution.

What is the minimum macOS version required for using FusionDock Pro 3?

·macOS 11.5 or later.

Why don't the colors on my external displays look right?

·Try using the display profile designed for your display. On your Mac, choose “Apple menu” > System Settings, then click “Displays” in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

·Click the pop-up menu next to “Color profile” on the right, and adjust the “Color profile” to the one best suited for your monitor.

No video output when reconnecting the laptop to the dock, and the external display remains black

·Make sure the dock is properly connected to the laptop, try disconnecting and reconnecting the laptop to the dock.

·Confirm that the display monitor is turned on properly, turn on and off the display monitor again.

·Restart the dock by unplugging and re-plugging the dock power supply.

USB external devices cannot be used on the dock

·Make sure the dock and the laptop are properly connected, try disconnecting and reconnecting the laptop and dock.

·Check the USB port for damage. Try plugging the USB device into another USB port.

·If you are using a USB mobile hard disk or a USB external optical drive, such devices may have higher power requirements, and it is recommended to connect them to the USB-C port.

·If you are using an Apple USB SuperDrive as an external USB drive, it cannot be used through the docking station due to Apple's restrictions and needs to be connected directly.

Wireless keyboard/mouse not working?

·Wireless keyboards and mice may lag, disconnect, or not work when connected to the USB ports on the dock.

·This may be due to radio frequency interference to wireless devices operating in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. To eliminate this problem, instead of plugging the USB wireless receiver directly into the dock's USB port, you can use a USB extension cable to connect the receiver and the dock.
